What does PAWS do?
We carry out a continuing sterilization programme for stray cats and dogs
We feed those street animals that are not being looked after by other individuals, tavernas etc
We provide medication for ticks, fleas, mange and worms
We do blood tests on stray dogs with suspected leishmaniasis (known locally as kaladzars), and subsequently medicate when necessary
We pay for any emergency treatment of injured stray animals and rehabilitate when necessary
We find homes whenever we can for stray dogs. Some have been sent abroad
We try to educate and inform individuals on animal welfare
